'The Food Chain'

It pays to know who is on top of ‘the food chain’. Period.

This is what I heard from one of my friends. He’s working as a branch supervisor (Sorry if I got your position wrong) in one of the local, errrr…. I am not sure what shops like Guardians/Watsons are categorized in.

Story goes like this. This is the shortest version.

A customer walks into the shop. After a while went to the cashier to pay for the stuff. BUT, the staff is (from what I heard) being rude the customer. I am not sure for whatever reason; making the customer upset.

And then, the customer gives the staff a business card to be given to the branch supervisor/manager and ask for the staff name. The staff still ignores the card.

Again, from what I heard, the staff now is out of a job. Why, because he did not bothered to read the card. Guess who is the customer? He is the chairman of the company.

This may or may not be relevant to you. But it does to me…. It pays to know who is on top of ‘the food chain’.
